Noah Mankowitz MPsych (Clinical), PostGrad (Psych), MAPS is a Clinical Psychologist who works both at Alfred Health as well as privately. Noah Mankowitz specialises in mental conditions from age 8 and above, with particular interests in Anxiety, PTSD, Depression and the impact of ADHD on a person life’s trajectory. Noah Mankowitz earned his qualifications from Harvard University; Yale University as well as Deakin University and the Australian Catholic University in Melbourne, Australia. In addition, Noah Mankowitz has published articles with the American Psychological Association and strives to continue contributing to the Medical and Psychology field.

Noah has vast experience working in various public and private mental health settings. Noah utilizes the patient centered approach; working collaboratively with patients to develop a shared understanding of the presenting difficulties and tailor interventions to suit their goals, circumstance and strengths.


Noah draws on a range of evidence-based interventions and therapeutic models, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Committed Therapy (ACT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), social and emotional skills training, mindfulness, Mindfulnessbased cognitive therapy (MBCT), Solution focused brief therapy (SFBT), Dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) and Emotion-focused therapy.

Noah employs a multi-systemic approach consulting with parents/caregivers and teachers, in order to fully understand the situation from all angles and ultimately work together with families to achieve the best possible outcome, including implementing strategies and skills, positive action and helpful feedback.

Noah takes great pride in his ability to work collaboratively with patients’ family, school and other professionals to provide comprehensive and targeted support and deliver functional outcomes. Furthermore, Noah strives to assist his patients address their difficulties and to encourage their strengths.
