Cognitive Assessment – $1,800.00 inc GST Includes:
Full cognitive assessment
- Comprehensive psychological report
- 30 min feedback consultation
- Detailed recommendations for home and school
- Action plan for your child (created in liaison with school and healthcare professionals (where appropriate)
Payment terms
Fees are payable by direct fund transfer on the day of ADHD assessment in Melbourne.
Noah Mankowitz is a Clinical Psychologist who is registered as a provider with Private Health Funds. Some funds will allow rebates for psychological testing services; however, it is advisable to check with your specific fund to see if your ‘extras cover’ includes this and the amount of rebate. If you are eligible, you will have to pay the full ADHD assessment cost and we will send you a receipt for you to claim your rebate online.
At present, Medicare does not provide rebate for Cognitive assessments.
Cancellation fees
When appointments are booked, the psychologist reserves the assessment’s hours especially for you, therefore the following cancellation policy is in place.
Cancellation fees are in accordance with the guidelines of the Australian Psychological Society (APS):
- Less than 24 hours’ notice of a cancellation prior to a scheduled appointment, the cancellation fee charged is 100% of the full appointment fee
- Between 24-48 hours’ notice of a cancellation prior to a scheduled appointment, then the cancellation fee charged is 50% of the full appointment fee

That cancellation fees paid cannot be claimed through private health insurance ‘Extras’ cover, or Medicare, and you will incur the cost of cancellation or late arrival fees. Further appointments will not be made until these fees are paid. Cancellation or late arrival fees may be waived in special circumstances. Please discuss this with me at the time of cancelling an appointment.
